KX3 CW Key Adapter

The Key Adapter provides a means to connect a standard CW key to the front of the Elecraft KX3. The CW key shipped with the KX3, the KX3PD, connects to a 2x2 0.1” pitch header with thumbscrews. The Key Adapter replaces the KX3PD offering a standard stereo jack for connecting your CW key.

The Key Adapter is offered as a kit. It requires a bit of soldering to attach the header and stereo jack.

The stereo connector for the CW key can be installed in one of two orientations based on the type of connector you have on your key. The receptacle can be either parallel or perpendicular to the front of the KX3.
